Stitching Holiday - Newcastle 2010 on Events
For those who want a challenge, we have some elements for you to put together or develop so that you can create your own unique piece of textile artwork.
For those of you just starting out in embroidery, but keen to try your hand at creating something individual, we have templates for you to trace, along with finished, stitched models and plenty of samples to inspire you.
Bea and I will be on hand at all times to show you different ways to sample a new stitch or technique and how to develop ideas from the initial designs to make your own individual pieces.
Be sure to bring your camera along as you may be able to use some of your own images afterwards. Alternatively, take photos of the worked models and samples we will be bringing to remind you when you get back home...
