We are delighted that our stitching weekends continue to be highly popular and live on. As usual Sally McCollin and Bea Neilson continue to host these wonderful events in their own inimitable way.Those of you have joined us on previous weekends know that we always have a lot of fun and produce some lovely pieces of work – and that applies to beginners as well as more experienced stitchers! The friendly atmosphere ensures that everyone mixes well and if you would like to come along on your own (or bring a non-stitching husband or partner, espcially if he likes golf or walking), you are assured of a warm welcome.
In April we are going across the water to Belfast. Join us at the Dunadry Hotel, County Antrim, to create tactile, raised and encrusted surfaces, rich in colour, fibre and texture. Experiment with fibres, threads and fabrics then, just for fun, add a touch of the unexpected to make a unique and personal piece of work.
