Wonder tape
9 metres per spool of 1/4" wide double-sided sticky tape (not to be confused with Quilter tape, which is completely different).
Use it with the bias bars for stained-glass window applique, other sorts of patchwork, dressmaking, turning seams, or simply for holding stuff in place!
It's also ideal for all those machine projects where 1/4" seam allowances are needed - simply peel, stick and fold over!
Oh...it washes out, too, so no residue left on your project work. It's a wonder how we ever did without it!
