Anchor Stranded Multicolor and Plain
Using the Multicolors, the subtle colour variations ensure lovely tonal changes throughout your stitching. Mix individual strands with other variegated threads or metallics to create further colourways and finishes.
For a smoother finish, separate each strand individually from the cut length, stroke each strand to remove the twist, then put together the required number. Try turning some of the strand lengths the other way round to create a more random colour variation.
To separate each strand, hold the lengths firmly in one hand revealing about an inch above. Separate one strand from those above with the other hand and pull upwards slowly. The remaining threads will coil up underneath, but will drop down again when the thread is fully removed. Stroke the remaining threads downwards to smooth them out if necessary.
